2013 "Pioneer of the Year"

In concert with our friends at the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, the presentation of the prestigious “Pioneer of the Year” Award will once again be incorporated into the official convention schedule. The 2011 recipient was Dick Cook and in 2012 Jeffrey Katzenberg was honored. Both events were tremendous successes and CinemaCon couldn’t be more delighted to note that the presentation of the 2013 “Pioneer of the Year” Award will go to Kathleen Kennedy, President of Lucasfilm. This gala celebratory dinner will once again be part of the official 2013 convention schedule. The all-industry dinner event will be held on Wednesday, April 17th.
