The theatrical industry has entered an exciting new chapter. Recent years showed its resilience, but these days, it’s doing much more than staying alive. Box office is growing, investment is pouring in, and younger audiences are outspoken about their love for theaters. Our collaboration is at the heart of this momentum. Together, we deliver the consistent, diverse slates that keep audiences coming back week after week. We supply the cinematic experiences that turn films into cultural moments.
At Amazon MGM Studios, we have an incredible film lineup to continue this momentum. Before we get into what’s next, let’s recap a year of hits.
Most recently, we had Project Hail Mary, the masterful adaptation of Andy Weir’s #1 bestseller, which launched to a staggering $80.5 million domestically during its opening weekend.
