President of Distribution
Bleecker Street
Bleecker Street is thrilled to return to CinemaCon 2026. As we celebrate the magic of cinema and the theatrical experience, we’re excited to showcase our compelling and diverse slate of upcoming films.
Before diving in, we’d like to highlight a recent development at Bleecker Street. In 2025, Bleecker launched a bespoke event cinema distribution division called Crosswalk. Crosswalk’s first release, Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience, grossed 7.2 million dollars at the box office earlier this year, helping the film launch to #1 at the box office globally. Previously, Bleecker has had success in this space with the release of Waitress: The Musical in 2023, which transformed the Tony-nominated production to the big screen for audiences. We plan to release several Crosswalk titles a year, with more to come this year.
Up next on our slate is Stop! That! Train!, directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray). This film follows two best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Latrice Royale) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day. The film promises an over-the-top commercial comedy packed with camp, chaos, and surprise cameos, arriving in theaters everywhere June 12th.
Also to come this summer is an exciting Crosswalk title, the live theater capture of hit Broadway musical “Hadestown”. The film, shot on the West End last year, reunites the five original principals of the Tony award-winning show: Reeve Carney as Orpheus, André De Shields’ Tony Award®-winning turn as Hermes, Amber Gray as Persephone, Eva Noblezada as Eurydice, and Patrick Page as Hades. Winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theater Album.
Looking ahead to the fall and winter, we have a strong selection of films across multiple genres.
Opening in theaters on September 25th is Victorian Psycho, a horror thriller based on Virginia Feito’s bestselling novel. Directed by Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) and produced by Dan Kagan (Longlegs), the film stars scream queen Maika Monroe (Longlegs, It Follows), alongside Thomasin McKenzie and Jason Isaacs. Set in Victorian England, Victorian Psycho sees an eccentric governess (Monroe) arrive at a remote gothic manor, where strange happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems.
Harmonia is a true crime thriller set in the 1980s and inspired by director Guy Nattiv (Golda) grandmother’s real-life experience with an insidious cult. The film follows Rita (Carrie Coon), who becomes captivated by a radiant young spiritual leader (Lily James) after a chance encounter. Following her into the all-female commune known as Harmonia, Rita leaves her life and family behind until her daughters, Ella (Bella Ramsey), and Jo (Odessa Young), embark on a dangerous journey to rescue their mother. Once immersed in the commune, they find themselves inexorably drawn into the leader’s labyrinthine web of pseudo-spiritual and psychological manipulation.
When Darkness Loves Us is a viscerally cinematic and terrifying horror movie. Based on the two-novella collection from Elizabeth Engstrom and Directed by James Ashcroft (The Rule of Jenny Pen), the story follows a mother (Emilia Clarke, “Game of Thrones”) trapped in an underground cave system, raising her son in darkness. When she returns to the surface to find that her fiancé has married her sister, she orchestrates a horrifying plan to reclaim the family she believes is hers, no matter the cost.
From Academy Award®-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney comes Musk. The epic film takes an incisive look behind the legend of technology billionaire Elon Musk, offering a closer look into one of the most heralded “inventor-entrepreneur” and controversial figures shaping the modern world.
Rounding out the lineup is a new untitled film from legendary filmmaker Mike Leigh, his first feature since the multi-award-winning Hard Truths. The film reunites previous collaborators Marion Bailey (Mr. Turner), Paul Jesson (All or Nothing), Kate O’Flynn (Happy-Go-Lucky) and Alice Bailey Johnson (Hard Truths).
More to come in 2026! We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to sharing these films with audiences on the big screen. Wishing everyone a fantastic week!
