Head of Theatrical Distribution
Roadside Attractions
Roadside Attractions is excited to be representing independent distribution again this year at CinemaCon 2026. We are proud of the diverse slate of films we bring to the theatrical marketplace, ranging from award-caliber movies, to critically acclaimed indie gems, to elevated genre fare. We continue to pursue quality independent stories that resonate with critics and audiences alike.
Early 2025 was highlighted by the Golden Globe and SAG nominated Pam Anderson in The Last Showgirl, a triumphant return and career defining role for the 90s icon. Later in the year, James Sweeney’s Twinless, starring Dylan O’Brien in dual roles, and Bryan Fuller’s feature film debut, Dust Bunny, were both critically acclaimed and recognized with Independent Spirit Awards nominations.
This year is off to an exciting start as Roadside Attractions recently completed the release of the 2026 Oscar Nominated Shorts program for the first time. With the support of Taika Waititi as the program’s spokesperson, this year’s version set a new high-water mark for box office gross at over $3.7M. Last week, Roadside launched the U.S. revolutionary-era historical, faith-based drama, A Great Awakening in partnership with Sight & Sound Films, a genre we have had past success with including the original I Can Only Imagine, Roadside’s highest grossing film, and Amazing Grace.
Looking ahead, our upcoming releases continue the diverse, quality film that has become a hallmark. Later this month, and featuring considerable visibility at this year’s convention, is Fuze, a twisty heist thriller from David MacKenzie (Hell or High Water) on April 24. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Sam Worthington and Gugu Mbatha Raw headline a ticking clock thriller about an unexploded WWII bomb uncovered at a central London construction site and the chaos that ensues after the area is evacuated. In early summer, we will have Lucky Strike, a World War II action film directed by Rod Lurie, starring Scott Eastwood, Colin Hanks and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, which follows a wounded American soldier trapped behind German lines during the Battle of the Bulge. Later in the summer, we will release the buzzy Sundance documentary, Cookie Queens, a crowd-pleaser about the Girl Scout cookie universe focusing on four tenacious girls all striving to be a top-seller, navigating the $800 million business that explores the joys, pains and pressures of the Girl Scout Cookies season.
Other releases are in the works to fill out the latter part of this year which we will announce soon. As always, you can count on and expect them to live up to the diversity and acclaim for which Roadside Attractions films are known for and continue to provide quality film for your audiences.
Roadside Attractions remains committed to the theatrical experience and believes great storytelling is best served in the communal environment of a movie theatre. As always, we are grateful for your ongoing support to make this possible and thank you for all you do.
