Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth 20th Anniversary | opening October 9
One of the most celebrated and visually arresting films of the 21st century returns to theatres for its 20th anniversary. Set against the haunting backdrop of a fascist regime in 1944 rural Spain, Pan’s Labyrinth follows Ofelia, a lonely, imaginative child who escapes her grim reality by retreating into a world of fantastical creatures and secret destinies. As post-war repression tightens its grip, Ofelia must confront both worlds to find her truth.
This anniversary release will feature a special, never-before-seen 3D presentation of the film’s dream sequences, a genuinely new theatrical experience that will bring both devoted fans and first-time viewers to your auditoriums.
Wildwood | opening October 23
When her baby brother is snatched away by a murder of crows, headstrong teenager Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) charges headlong into the Impassable Wilderness — an enchanted forest hidden just beyond the edge of Portland, Oregon. Joined by her hapless but fiercely loyal classmate Curtis Mehlberg (Jacob Tremblay), Prue encounters talking animals, cunning bandits, and powerful figures driven by grief and ambition. As they are pulled deeper into a conflict threatening the forest’s delicate balance, Prue must find the strength and belief she never knew she had.
From Oscar®-nominated and BAFTA®-winning LAIKA — the studio behind Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings — and directed by LAIKA founder Travis Knight, Wildwood is a sweeping, visually stunning adventure about love, sacrifice, and the magic that reveals itself when we dare to look beyond the familiar. This is the kind of event families will not want to miss on the big screen.
JIMMY | opening November 6
Starring KJ Apa, Jimmy brings to the big screen the most extraordinary and transformative years of Jimmy Stewart’s remarkable life. From the Academy Award® for Best Actor in The Philadelphia Story to flying 20 combat missions over Europe as a pilot and commander in the U.S. Army Air Corps- rising to the rank of colonel- Stewart’s story is one of courage, sacrifice, and reinvention. He returned home from war broken and disheartened. And then George Bailey came calling.
JIMMY slated to open wide right before Veteran’s Day, is a biographical drama that will resonate deeply with audiences who grew up loving Stewart’s iconic work and will introduce a new generation to one of Hollywood’s greatest legends.
